The heater is composed in steps: the main body carries the firebox, a lower set-back forms the heated bench, capped with a separate slab in a deeper tone than the render. The corners are rounded to a large radius, which softens an otherwise very simple volume.
Under the seat, an open log store is formed in the masonry. The high shelf, at shoulder height, serves as warm storage.
The whole is set in a house with an exposed roof structure, on a pale floor. Built in 2014.
