Here the heater is at the structural stage: large-format refractory slabs, bonded with fine joints, form the storage mass around the firebox. The flue outlet at the top and the cleaning doors formed on the right-hand side can be made out clearly.
On the right, the bench has already been begun, with its seat slab in place. The insulating base, in white blocks, raises the whole assembly off the floor.
