Côte Chalonnaise | The insert becomes a masonry heater in Viré (71260)

In this article, discover our latest project using a Brunner HKD firebox coupled with a KMS Ortner heat store. As an option, we installed for the first time on this type of appliance an automatic closing damper at the end of the flue path. It was a trial: the damper is controlled by the firebox’s combustion control, which decides on its own when to close. We wanted to check on a real appliance what the documentation claimed.
