A wall that heats: built-in heater and log niches in Cordon

In this living room, the masonry heater does not present itself as a piece of furniture: it is the wall. The glazed firebox is set into a plane of taupe mineral render that radiates into the whole room; a lit bench niche invites you to sit against the warm mass, and two vertical log stores, framed in black steel, turn the wood stock into a composition.
