The heater takes the place of the hearth in an old fireplace whose jambs and brick arch have been kept. The storage mass, rounded at the front, is finished in anthracite grey stucco: a smooth, almost mineral surface that absorbs the light where the bricks reflect it.
The plinth picks up the language of the room — an ochre render on top, a blood-red skirting — and draws a free curve on the floor, projecting beyond the arch, which takes up the unevenness of the terracotta-tiled floor.
Built in 2015.
